I have been trying to setup a demo on Windows 2008 but post installation when i try to connect via the management console I get this:

remoting error occurred.

Make sure the Manamgement Console is properly configured and it has the same version as the Management Service.

Error code:0000C824

It is installed on Windows 2008 Server and i have done the installatin with a domain admin account. I am not using secure connection.

I have tried:

Any thoughts?

I have redone the installation also on 2003 without an issue.

First thought is that when you "connect to", you probably need to uncheck the "secure" mode, which makes the connection using port 80.

Unfortunately not the case. So for now it is a demo on Windows 2003.
